Project Summary

There is a high incidence of aortic disease in subjects with congenital aortic valve malformations. This study will seek to establish a novel role of a signaling molecular Notch in ascending aortic dilatation and may lead the way for therapeutic interventions and the prevention of aortic aneurysms.
